Our Account Managers are highly compensated, industry professionals who understand how to utilize a business network to find prospects, develop relationships and undertake true business conversations with CxO level customers. By managing the full sales cycle from business development to post-project customer management, our Account Managers work side by side with our sales support staff, Project Managers, Project Administrators and Engineering Professionals to create customized technology solutions.
NIC Partners serves a variety of verticals, including Gov/Ed Public Sector, Healthcare, Commercial, Enterprise and other industries. Historically, our customer base has been Southern California, but new company strategies continue to expand our footprint into the Southwestern U.S.
◦Unbelievable Communications skills including the ability to create a customized compelling value proposition to the customer;
◦Detailed follow-up skills, including mutli-tasking, task management
◦The ability to work in a multi-contact environment for large customers and navigate complex, political environments.
◦Self-motivated. Our Account Managers DRIVE business and rely upon their own creativity and personality to engage prospects and customers.
◦Team sell. Our solutions require working together with a variety of NIC Partners departments. Our sales are also technical and require a team sale.
◦Computer savvy. Account Managers must be very familiar with email, MS Office, the internet and must be able to communicate expertly in a variety of methods (email, documentation, voicemail, etc.).
◦Strategic Planning. Our Account Managers develop Strategic Selling Plans and create goals and plans to achieve those objectives.
◦Understands technology. In an ever-changing environment, the more you already know about Cisco technologies, the better. Preferred candidates will have their Cisco Certified Sales Expert (CSE) or equivalent.
◦Driving. Our Account Managers may find customers all over Southern California and beyond. We’re looking for candidates that are aggressive and want to go where our prospects might be. Los Angeles/San Diego is a big territory.
