Rancho Cucamonga, California, August 14, 2009 – NIC Partners, Inc has been officially recertified as an Advanced Technology Partner (ATP) for Physical Security, including both IP Video Surveillance and IP Access Control. Cisco Systems has only recently begun implementing their own branded product set of physical security solutions and has chosen only a handful of Cisco Partners to be certified in selling these technologies. In the Los Angeles area, NIC is one of only six Gold Partners to have received the ATP.

NIC Partners, Inc has completed a focused effort to increase the level of Cisco sales and support capabilities within their organization. They have met the rigorous Cisco certified personnel levels required for the ATP – Video Surveillance partner. This helps ensure that NIC Partners, Inc. sales and support organizations are better prepared to properly sell, design, install, and support the ATP specific technology and products.

Cisco Systems’ Physical Security offerings include Video Surveillance Manager (VSM), a wide variety of Cisco IP Cameras (Including Mega-Pixel, fixed dome and PTZ cameras), Cisco’s Physical Access Manager (CPAM) and Access Control Gateways/Modules for support of any door access hardware. These physical security solutions are integrated and have the capacity for advanced integration of third-party video analytics, LDAP (Active Directory) Integration and Physical Security Information Management (PSIM).

This is an outstanding accomplishment for NIC Partners and demonstrates their desire to develop expertise in the area of Cisco Emerging Technologies. The Cisco Systems Account Management team continues to work closely with NIC Partners to develop and enhance the fast growing market for Physical Security solutions, all on a converged IP network.
